FORGE YOUR DESTINY
STORY & EXPLORATION
The Divine Atlas contains 50 locations for you to explore across the island of Fort Joy. The average campaign will traverse through 15 -18
locations, as determined by the choices and actions of your party along the way.
Every location is filled with location cards. Each one is a small narrative situation that can be triggered as you explore this world, providing
story, challenges (through challenge rolls) and combat opportunities.
Our Journal Card system helps you track what you’ve done so far and why you’ve done it, logging the key narrative beats of your adventure so far.
This same system is used by the Divine Atlas and location cards to provide smaller but very significant changes to each location. The island
remembers the actions you took and reacts to them - watch as some location environments transform because of your influence.
BUILD A LEGEND
Character Creation
Choose an Origin character and customise your build from the ground up. With a classless system that uses 7 skills from each of the 12 skill
schools, 10 unique Origins with their own unique abilities and skills, 100s of items, and 36 talents, you’ll have the freedom to craft a character
perfectly suited to your preferences.
Your choices in Skills, Talents, and Origins impact not only battles but also the narrative and pivotal decision points throughout your play
session. Strategize with your allies by selecting skills and combinations that complement and enhance each other's abilities.
CHOOSE YOUR WEAPON
COMBAT
Experience new and evolving challenges as you adventure through Rivellon with 50 combat locations and over 50 different enemies in the game - each
with two enemy variations on either side of its card.
Combine the elements in our intuitive magic system where oil can be set on fire and rain can be cast to douse the flames on your friends. Work
with your teammates to maximise those combinations but beware - enemies can (and will) use those same combinations against you.
Spend your action points to use your turn to the maximum efficiency or save them to build up and perform potential combat winning combinations in
later rounds. Unleash the power of Source by making the dice bend to your will with rerolls in later levels save your power to use your Source
abilities unique to your character.
BATTLE FOR DIVINITY
BOSSES
All that you’ve learned in combat will finally be put to the test when you come face to face with the Bosses of Divinity: Original Sin The
Boardgame. Boss Encounters amp up the difficulty, introducing the most powerful wielders of Source and monstrous creatures tainted by its magic.
Of the 15 boss encounters, a single playthrough will only experience 3-5, ensuring there is more to discover should you wish to try escaping the
island once more and play again. Bosses will each come with their own unique rules - as described in the Boss Book - their own unique action
cards, and use action points just like the player.
